Speaker: Diane August

Diane August serves as Chief Learning Architect at Nationwide. Her role is to provide thought leadership on learning strategy, best practices and standards, and learner experience excellence. She works across a wide range of enterprise learning projects with a current focus on Nationwide’s Future of Work Center initiatives, including Upskilling, Reskilling, and Experiential Learning. August also collaborates with the Innovation Capability Development team and business unit learning teams. She created Nationwide’s initial learning architecture and previously served at Nationwide as the Director of IT Learning and Development.

She owned her own instructional design consulting firm for 15 years prior to joining the insurance firm. August is also a 20-year adjunct faculty member for Franklin University. She holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Education from The Ohio State University.
