Speaker: Rob Toomey

Robert V. Toomey, JD is President and Co-Founder of TypeCoach LLC, a leadership development firm whose tools and programs have been used by tens of thousands of teams worldwide. Rob’s work focuses on improving interpersonal effectiveness at scale, equipping leaders and teams with practical skills that drive measurable performance outcomes. He has worked with organizations across the private sector, public sector, and nonprofit space for more than twenty years.

Rob’s recent work at Harvard Business School includes the design and personal delivery of interpersonal competence training for the entire first year MBA program. His team’s work was featured in the FIELD Global Immersion course, where TypeCoach tools helped reduce faculty interventions from forty-five to one - a milestone that helped shape the broader conversation around how interpersonal skills drive measurable leadership and organizational performance.

Rob has been a featured speaker for organizations across industries and is the author of the forthcoming book The Rise of Interpersonal Competence, which distills two decades of practical experience helping leaders communicate, collaborate, and influence more effectively. He also serves as an advisor to several early-stage ventures and leadership teams on the integration of interpersonal skills into organizational performance.
