Description

We now understand that gamification is more than throwing points, badges, and leaderboards at a program. And we’ve also peeked into the full potential of gamification with hundreds of possible mechanics, not to mention all the dynamics and other considerations that go into successful gamification.

So where do we start? What do we have to have to create quality gamified programs, and what are the things we can add in later?

This eBook provides some of the fundamental questions to inspire creative gamification design. It includes questions to ask yourself before you begin the gamification process, as well as questions to ask yourself continually throughout the process.

Keep in mind, these questions will not apply to every situation and should be taken in context to what you are gamifying. Also, constant monitoring of feedback and metrics will be required as you slowly make incremental improvements, add new game features, and utilize new game mechanics.

Would you want to learn how to move beyond the one-size-fits-all, been-there-done-that corporate conferences, sales meetings, or training events? What if you could create a powerful and engaging event experience?

The most important use of gamification for your events is to create a fun and engaging experience that is both meaningful and memorable for ALL attendees. It’s time to go beyond points, badges, and leaderboards – gamification must evolve from being a few loose game mechanics sprinkled on an event to a more integral part of the design from start to finish.

The flux and stress of the Pandemic caused people to question their relationship with work and the companies that employ them. Employee disengagement and high turnover rates are real challenges that conferences, event coordinators, and employers face and companies in EVERY industry are looking for actionable solutions.

We can’t expect that what worked in the past will be effective any longer.

During this live online event we will explore the use of gamification in your events and explore real-life examples of:
  • Practical applications of gamification you can use in your events
  • Hands-on activities designed to increase learning and comprehension
  • Models, tools, and guidance on the application of game mechanics
