Most trainers would like to see their training stick so it is used by participants in their jobs... if only they knew how and had the time.  This session will feature practical, evidence-based techniques for instructional designers and training instructors to increase transfer of training, whether it is instructor-led training, self-paced elearning, or a blend.  Barbara will demonstrate several new training transfer technology tools to make it quicker and easier than ever to make the training stick.

Barbara Carnes is a pioneer in training transfer and elearning. She is the author of the books Making Elearning Stick, Making Learning Stick, and Making Training Stick: A Training Transfer Field Guide as well as numerous articles. She is listed in the national registry of Who’s Who, and has presented at national and international training conferences including the American Society for Training and Development, ASTD TechKnowledge, Learning 3.0, and DevCon. In addition to training trainers, writing her mini-newsletter Sticky Notes, and offering Making Elearning Stick certifications, Barbara teaches graduate courses on human resources development for Webster University and Washington University.
