We all know succession planning is crucial to our organization’s sustainability. Yet many of us are not investing in it. Why?  In part, because the debate about how to spot talent and who to develop is an ongoing one. This webinar will provide you with strategies to spot and grow your talent pipeline.

About Shelley Robbins, Ph.D.

Dr. Shelley Robbins is the Senior Faculty for Masters Programs in Business, leading Capella University’s  MBA, MS in HRM programs, and MS in Leadership programs  She has held leadership positions at Capella University, the University of Minnesota, Coopers & Lybrand, KPMG and Anlon Systems. She has also served on the faculty of Northwestern University, the University of St. Thomas, the University of Minnesota, and the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee.  Dr. Robbins holds a Ph.D. in Strategy and Organizational Behavior from Northwestern University, an MBA from the University of Chicago, and a BS in Psychology from the University of Illinois.  Her areas of expertise include strategic Human Resource management, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, leadership coaching, and change management.

She has published and has presented papers at national and international Conferences, including the Academy of Management, the Strategic Management Society, the O.D. Network,  the American Society for Training and Development, the International Leadership Association,  and the Society for Human Resources Management. She has also served on the editorial board for the Journal of Management and Entrepreneurship, and on the HR.Com advisory board for Technology Enabled Learning.
 
Dr. Robbins was a recipient of the Twin Cities Business Journal’s Women Changemakers award in 2004, which is given annually to women who spearhead initiatives and make decisions that have changed their businesses, industries or community. She lives in North Oaks, MN with her husband and daughter.

About Dick Wagner

Richard J. (Dick) Wagner received his BS from Union College in Schenectady, NY, an MBA from Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA and his Ph.D. from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN.  Dick is a Force Veteran with 15 years experience in Corporate Training and Human Resource Management.   Dick has 30 years experience as College Professor and has taught and developed courses in the areas of Learning and Development, Staffing and other General HR topics.  Dick has consulted both in the U.S. and Internationally and is the co-author of over 30 Journal Publications and 2 Books.
