The e-learning or live virtual class is animated and interactive, but are participants applying what they learn?  This webinar will show you the latest research on e-learning and live virtual design practices – what works and what doesn’t work to make the e-learning stick. Based on Barbara’s new book Making Elearning Stick, you will learn research-tested techniques you can begin using immediately, with any training topic, to increase transfer to the job.

In this webinar you will learn how to:
 
  • Use the Transfer of Technology-Supported Training model to increase the impact and application of  elearning for which they are responsible
  • Implement at least 3-5 techniques for increasing transfer of skills in their current elearning and/or live virtual training
  • Implement at least 3-5 techniques for increasing transfer of skills in future elearning and/or live virtual training
  • Describe and discuss how to make elearning stick with managers and senior leaders

About Barbara Carnes

Barbara Carnes is a pioneer in training transfer and elearning. She is the author of the books Making Elearning Stick, Making Learning Stick, and Making Training Stick: A Training Transfer Field Guide as well as numerous articles. She is listed in the national registry of Who’s Who, and has presented at national and international training conferences including the American Society for Training and Development, ASTD TechKnowledge, Learning 3.0, and DevCon. In addition to training trainers, writing her mini-newsletter Sticky Notes, and offering Making Elearning Stick certifications, Barbara teaches graduate courses on human resources development for Webster University and Washington University.
