Description

As learning continues to shift away from formal to informal, the learning ecosystem now includes a much broader spectrum of learning experiences. Information on any topic or skill is literally a click away for an employee with a smart phone. Google searches. Blogs. YouTube videos. Books. Podcasts. Articles. Expert advice.

Information is ubiquitous and informal learning is the name of the game.

The question is, how do you manage and track informal learning without destroying what makes it so effective? You don’t want to stifle the engagement, agility, and collaboration informal learning fosters. Yet you need to ensure relevance by establishing some kind of boundary around it.

In this webinar we’ll discuss how modern learning practices can free learners to explore beyond their LMS, while still supporting the learning needs of the broader organization.

Discussion topics include:

  • The evolving learning ecosystem and the rise of user-driven learning
  • Strategies and tools that can help you give informal learning structure in a way that still works for everyone
  • Measuring learning effectiveness – how to apply metrics to informal learning

The reality is, in addition to formal classes and courses, your people want and need to learn on their own. Join David and Caitlin as they share how you can guide and measure informal learning while at the same time embrace the new expectations of employees to learn anytime, anywhere.
