About Yvette Birlew

With more than 17 years of Learning & Development experience in multiple industries, Yvette creates engaging and effective learning & development programs that help her organization achieve strategic goals and employee engagement. She currently leads the corporate L&D team for Sally Beauty Holdings, and has enjoyed leveraging technology to deliver practical real-time development, improve business efficiencies, and drive innovation. Most recently, Yvette and her team broke the mold on the traditional LMS launch by starting first with the associate in mind. By giving people the voluntary development they asked for rather than what the company wanted first, they achieved their first year adoption goal in just over three weeks.

Ms. Birlew is graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, and lives with her son in the suburbs of the DFW Metroplex.
