Caves are natural formations caused by the hollowing of rock (usually by means of water flow) that extend into the Earth itself. Caves are home to a variety of creatures not found elsewhere on Earth, and they have been used as forms of shelter for years. Exploring caves can be dangerous, due to the lack of light, unpredictable terrain, potential predators, and the risk of cave-ins, but many people enjoy exploring caves in a recreation known as spelunking. Caves have naturally beautiful formations that are created by moving water and deposits of sediment, and because they restrict light from entering fully, they can be dramatic subjects for photographers: Soreq Cave By Mauro Silva The Jaws of Winter - Lake Superior By Michael Treloar Into the shadows By Richie Johns st. beatus caves By Roman Burri Caves Beach By George Rath Buderim State Forest Waterfall in Detail By Roger Harrison Frozen Waterfalls By Krzysztof Hanusiak Ice Cave By Viktor Posnov Caves Beach Sunrise By Robert Downie Vietnam By Brian Horsey An Icy Adventure By Michael Matti Jomblang Cave By Felix Erman Yudi Under The Ledge By Mark Lucey Cave "Nartaa" By Yaroslav Belousov Revelation By Örvar Atli Þorgeirsson Peek to Heaven By Esmée Prexus Into the void By Matej Zalokar "Prohodna" Cave, Bulgaria By Veliko K. While traditional print books may have lost some ground to PDFs, ebooks and other online media, they are still a major part of media and textual content in the world. However, because of the competitiveness in the editorial, printing and book industries, it’s more important than ever to have your book stand out, so that people will pick it up and read it. One of the best ways (aside from having great content) to entice readers to check out your book is with great book cover or packaging design that lures the reader in or makes them want to see more. Concrete is one of the most important materials in modern building. It’s created using a composite of coarse particle materials and a cement or binding agent to hold it together. It’s commonly used in the construction of roads, bridges, and buildings. Concrete has a unique appearance and finish to it, but can vary depending on the materials used, and has been available in some natural forms for a long time and is still surviving in Roman structures today, but reinforced concrete was introduced in 1849 and took concrete to being one of the premier construction materials. Because of its ubiquity, concrete is often visible in photographs in ways, shapes and forms: Squares, circles, trapezoids. Eclipses are events where one object is obscured by another, usually in astronomy when referring to a lunar eclipse (when the moon moves into Earth’s shadow) or a solar eclipse (when the moon is between the Sun and the Earth and casts a shadow on Earth). Eclipses are relatively rare, and have been observed since antiquity and were often viewed as omens until they were scientifically explained with the advent of modern astronomy. They can be dangerous to look at (especially solar eclipses), but using filters and protective eyewear, they can be photographed with great results: Partial eclipse with cloud By G Naron texas eclipse By Barry Byrd Solar eclipse 2015 By Mariusz Zarzycki Partial Solar Eclipse Penzance By Adam Van Dorp Eclissi By Nicolò Grespi Eclipse By JANNIK SUN ECLIPSE MARCH 2015 By Colin Molyneux Solar Eclipse 2015 By Mario Ciperle NYC Solar Eclipse By Chris Cook eclipse By Bartosz Wyszynski Partial Solar Eclipse By Stéphane OMANUS Partial Solar Eclipse By Josh Spradling Partial solar eclipse By Aaron Gibbons Smoky Eclipse By Neil D. One of the big trends of the recent few years has been flat web design, with little or no depth or layering of elements, with a simplistic approach that draws the eye to what design elements do exist, without distraction. While the craze for flat design does seem to have died down a bit, there are still plenty of quality websites utilizing flat design very effectively. Even if your whole website isn’t flat, it’s a good idea to utilize some of the principles of flat design, and draw inspiration from sites that use it effectively: BrandAid > Infinium Daniel Spatzek Christmas with Joy Lunar VT Creative Miceli Studios Buchanan Chamberlin eTecc Vertical Loop Related Posts Free Flat Icon Sets You Must Download The Best Free HTML5 and CSS3 UI Kits Free Flat Icon Sets to Download Fresh Must-Download UI Kits Free Browser PSD Mockups to Download

Native tribes and other distinct social groups are often some of the strongest expressions of culture in a given land, because while they are generally a part of a country, they operate and identify separately from the actual government or country in many cases. As such, to maintain their identity and culture expressions, natives and tribes tend to use dress, hairstyles, paint, colors, jewelry and music in unique ways that provide a clear sense of the collective. For photographers, this offers a variety of unique and distinct opportunities for capturing cultural expression: A curious child By James Stone The Tribe By Chris Taylor Tribal y Stephen Bures Himba By Alexis Goubert Mursi Woman By Csilla Zelko Amazon Chief By Chris Taylor Roof Weaver By Jonathan H> Lee still a warrior By Pavol Stranák Portrait of a young boy from Mursi tribe, Ethiopia By Luisa Puccini X!is in hunting mode By Ben McRae Mentawai hunters By Yaman Ibrahim dani: to make fire By Pavol Stranak Her Life By Riza Ishar Mursi boy By Nick Fox Girl with a goat By Nick Fox Kuto By Csaba Desvari Maasai women By Pierre-yves Babelon Mursi By Vedran Vidak Mursi Girl By Hesham Alhumaid Armed By Norbert Becke Mursi Children By Norbert Becke Mursi boy By Vedran Vidak Mursi World By Goran jovic Mursi woman - Ethiopía By Carlos Cass Mursi Woman By Norbert Becke Mursi girl (Omo Valley-Ethiopia) By Joxe Inazio Kuesta Garmendia Mursi woman with her child (Omo Valle… By Joxe Inazio Kuesta Garmendia Mursi Woman By Nick Fox Woman from Mursi Tribe, Omo people By Luisa Puccini Young Mursi By Nick Fox No related content found.

One of the principles of logo design is that it should look good in both color and in grayscale. This is because there are a variety of mediums on which logos are printed (packages, labels, banners, and more) and it’s hard to predict whether color printing will be available or viable for a given medium. Some designers use this principle to design their logos in black and white only. The strong contrast leads to a visual impact that is especially effective for logos. In this post we’ll look at some sharp examples of black and white logo designs: Paradoxy Aqua Handy Full Stacks Food & Love Kibbl Scissor Story Tellers Black Sea Gold Just Miniatures Related Posts Cute Cat Logo Ideas Deliciously Creative Food Logo Designs Motor and Car Themed Logo Designs Love is in the Logo: 10 Inspiring Examples Creative Logo Designs for 2013

The Earth has many beautiful places to visit, explore, and to photograph. Several different agencies have compiled lists of what they consider the wonders of the natural world, which include the Great Barrier Reef and the Grand Canyon. Although there is some debate about what locations of the world should be included in a list of natural wonders (unlike the better known 7 Wonders of the Ancient World which is a more definite list), most people include large waterfalls, canyons, lakes, rivers and other locations. These locations tend to be magnets for photographers, because the grand scale and natural beauty is worth capturing: Angel Falls By David Ruiz Luna Grand Canyon By Thomas Zagler Grand Canyon By T.A Holmes Grand Canyon Rim By Csilla Zelko Iceberg in Jökulsarlon By Béla Török Seljalandsfoss another waterfall in Iceland By Vath.
