Pine trees are some of the most common trees in the Northern Hemisphere, especially across the USA, Europe and Russia, and they feature needles as opposed to larger, flatter laves seen on other trees.
Pine trees are perhaps most known for being the popular choice for Christmas trees, due to their ability to hold ornaments, lights and other decorations on the thin yet sturdy branches.
In this post, you’ll find 30 gorgeous photographs of pine trees.

jQuery is one of the many useful web languages that can help provide various enhancements to your website. Animated menus, loaders, mouseovers and other effects are all created using jQuery.
Because it’s based off of Javascript, jQuery can be quite intense to modify and create, so most developers rely on plugins and other existing scripts to help build their sites more quickly.
In this post, I’ve collected some useful jQuery menu plugins and scripts.

Much to the dismay of many, selfies are one of the most popular and commonly uploaded types of images on the web. Ever since the introduction of cameras on phones, and the growth in social media profiles, people have desired to have a variety of pictures to use as their profile pictures.
Simply put, a ‘selfie’ is a self portrait, but it usually involves a photograph that is also taken by the person. In fact, a company has even released a ‘selfie stick’ to help with the process.
Most selfies are rather boring, but here are some that are rather well executed:

Sand is a very fine material consisting of rock and mineral grains, and it’s commonly found on beaches, deserts and some other locations around the world. The exact size and composition varies, and the color can vary from a whitish tan to a dark orange or brown.
Here are 30 dry and coarse sand photographs to help you escape the winter snow.

Bread, along with rice in Asia and corn in the Americas, is one of the staple foods that developed early on in human existence, primarily in Europe. Bread consists of a mix of flour (from grains) and water, crafted into a dough and then often baked.
Breads vary by the flour type, the ratio of flour to water, the baking times, and the dough preparation, but most breads share common characteristics and the development of bread allowed humans to form established towns and societies through farming as opposed to hunter/gatherer lifestyles.
Bread is a food that photographs well, especially fresh from the oven, and is used in preparing all sorts of dishes for food photographers to capture:

In the world of fashion, being eyecatching is the name of the game. While obviously some aspects of clothing design are about functionality and wearability, for the higher end fashion houses, it’s all about making a visual statement.
If you’ve ever seen a fashion runway show, you know how impractical many of the outfits are, but they are designed to be eyecatching and create visual hype regarding a brand. This holds true when carried over to the world of web design in fashion as well.
One way to catch a user’s eye is with video on a website, as the eye naturally will watch the motion. Here’s some examples in fashion web design:
Adidas
Danner
Bonobo
House of Borel
Piaget
Reebok
Dick’s Sporting Goods
Lanificio Ricceri
Joe San
Michela Rigucci
