Dr. Erin Eatough is a Senior Behavioral Scientist at BetterUp, where she works to advance the science and practice of evidence-based coaching in the workplace. Erin is trained as an occupational health psychologist, specializing in the promotion of employee and leader well-being. Erin has spent over 15 years studying the science of stress and its effects on health and performance at work and her research has been published in outlets such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, the Journal of Organizational Behavior, and the Journal of Occupational Health Psychology and she has been a contributor to several books such as Wellbeing: A Complete Reference Guide. Her research has been featured in media outlets such as Harvard Business Review and BuzzFeed News. 

Before BetterUp, Erin was an assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at the City University of New York teaching, researching, and mentoring graduate students in the industrial-organizational psychology doctoral program and served as a consultant and strategic advisor to organizations such as Procter & Gamble and the Tampa Bay Electric Company on using evidence-based methods for the identification, measurement, and management of workplace stress. Erin earned her Ph.D. from the University of South Florida.
