No one should buy sales training just to check a box. Organizations invest in sales training to achieve better sales results. Period. So how do you know if the training you are about to invest in will hit the mark?
Are you tired of seeing learners struggle to retain information in traditional training?
AI is rewriting the rules of business, even as enterprises themselves struggle to implement it. Executives are intrigued by AI's potential, but they often question how AI can truly work for them. Where can AI generate real business value? Where does - and doesn’t - it have tangible use cases? How can teams be set up to effectively deploy and manage it for long-term success?
This. Changes. Everything. Of course we're talking about artificial intelligence. But instead of focusing on the art of the perfect prompt, we're going to level up and talk about the implications for artificial intelligence on you, your career, your team, your learners, and your organization. If we're really getting ahead of ourselves we might even look at a societal look at how these changes affect the world of work.
The first comprehensive ISO standard on L&D metrics was published in June 2023 and many are now beginning to adopt it. This standard provides guidance for the selection and reporting of 52 key L&D metrics for large organizations and 19 for small/medium-sized organizations. The standard also includes definitions and formulas for the recommended metrics as well as illustrations of the use of many of the metrics in simple tables.
This past year was one of significant disruptions in technology and budget for leadership development, according to the Annual Leadership Survey conducted by Training magazine and Wilson Learning Worldwide.
The use of AI in the workplace is exploding and your employees’ ability to discern fact from AI hallucination is increasingly imperative. Without critical thinking skills, we face a danger where falsehoods will negatively impact workplaces and consumer interactions.

Many managers are uncomfortable hearing or using the word "love" in the workplace. But, given the employee "defections" of the last year, maybe it’s time they got over it. Both research and experience dedicate that if employees don’t feel valued, appreciated - dare I say "loved"? - they will eventually leave. Or worse, they will quit, but stay!

Have you attended a few humdrum webinars or virtual training sessions that were so monotonous or uninteresting you found your attention wandering to that unfinished project on your desk? Following the previous Plan, Create, Deliver webinar, let’s now go a little deeper in the planning phase to help you leverage two of PowerPoint’s masters, so your presentation file works harder than you have to! After this session you will understand how to put the Slide master to work and the right way to customize it to avoid problems. You will also learn how to easily customize the Notes master so you can use it for handouts and your speaker notes.
Recent research shows that manager and peer involvement in training can dramatically improve effectiveness, in some cases by more than 75 percent! However, there is a problem. Manager coaching is at an all-time low, and the shift to more remote training methods has limited peer engagement.
Within a group, people will participate more to avoid letting down their peers. Even if someone doesn’t want to be in training, he won’t punish his partner. When learners work together as partners or team, it can bring out their best. They may not be motivated to please the trainer, but they are motivated to come through for their partners who are counting on their cooperation. Discover how to motivate learners with activities you can make your own.
In today’s hybrid and remote workplace, virtual meetings and presentations can inflict a mind-numbing combination of death by Powerpoint and Zoom fatigue that leave your attendees disengaged, distracted and desperate for it to be over. The solution? Adding simple live drawings to your online meetings breaks the monotony and illustrates your points clearly, so your audience understands, remembers, enjoys, and implements your trainings better.
Learn to develop an end-to-end evaluation strategy using the same tools, processes, and templates that Google does and apply them to your organization with the guidance of a Google subject-matter expert and your peers. You will develop the skills to draft evaluation questions that are tied to your business use cases, map them to the behaviors and indicators that will answer those questions, and create the instruments necessary to track those metrics. With those tools, you'll have an evaluation strategy to inform your data-driven decisions and influence your stakeholders.
