Paper textures are incredibly common in design. They are useful for creating a grunge feeling, as well as providing texturing or depth to a variety of different design styles. They are also useful for backgrounds for typographical artworks. Creating paper textures isn’t very difficult. Simply lay out a piece of paper and take a picture of it. However, paper can also have character, such as crinkles, stains, scratches and other wear. Here, I’ve selected 10 of my favorite paper textures that are all free for you to download and use: Old Paper Texture Grungy Paper Texture Paper Stained Paper White Paper Canvas Paper Distressed Paper Paper Background for Poems Drawing Surface Paper Texture Coffee Cup Stained Paper Related Posts Free Texture Friday - Pink Colored Paper Free Texture Friday - B&W Grunge Paper Free Texture Friday - Vintage Paper 5 Free Texture Friday - Vintage Paper Sheets Free Texture Friday - Color Stained Paper

Clowns are amusing, comic performers who use a variety of humor styles to entertain an audience. Usually wearing heavy makeup and wearing a costume, with colorful hair and clothing, clowns are frequently found at circuses, fairs, and parties, as a way to entertain the crowd. Many people are afraid of clowns though. Referred to as coulrophobia, the fear of clowns is often attributed to the nature of exaggerated facial features, costumes and behavior of clowns that can seem unnatural. Whether you find them amusing or terrifying, clowns are certainly distinctive, and that is especially true when photographed: Sometimes When I Miss You So By Hari Sulistiawan joker Family By Hamze Dashtrazmi PUNAKAWAN By Ario Wibisono Little Kiss By Hari Sulistiawan pagliaccio By Luis Romero Clownhouse By mario grobenski - psychodaddy The Show Must Begin By Cosimo Barletta dejection By Hari Sulistiawan Deaf By Hamze Dashtrazmi Bad Shit By Peter Kemp harlequin By Lao XIII The Morning After The Circus Left Town By Shawn Van Daele Mask In Mask By Hamze Dashtrazmi Send in the Clowns By Lauren Bates The Joker By Great Greengoblin The Rocker By Eolo Perfido joker By benoit paille The Art of Life By ambra The Clowns By Marcus Björkman Shock The Monkey By Daniele Porceddu Emptiness By Eolo Perfido Circus Nightmare By Jessica Pinnell Halloween By Danielle Tunstall Clownville, L’Hommage By Eolo Perfido sly clown By Ekaterina Ponkratova Clown Shoot - Bernadette By Mike Garza Nightmare By Ekaterina Ponkratova Jester By Stefan Nielsen why so serious…? Photoshop is by far one of the most powerful image editing tools available, and it’s used by both individuals and businesses alike for everything from photography to graphic design, web design and computer graphics. For photographers especially, Photoshop has a large number of useful tools, but frequently, the same editing tasks are performed multiple times. Photoshop Actions are a programmed set of tasks that automatically are replayed when the action is used. This allows for a given effect to be applied to a set image without having to re-do each step, while still having control over the finished product. Zen is a Chinese word that refers to a school of Buddhism. Emphasizing insight and using techniques such as breath monitoring, mental observation, meditation and chanting, Zen is commonly referred to as a meditative state. Zen concepts are practiced not only in Buddhism, but also in a variety of other religions, as well as yoga, and even the concept of biofeedback in medicine uses similar techniques as Zen. Capturing zen in photography usually focuses on illustrating the calm, meditative, focused states: Sleeping Buddha By Walde Jansky essence of zen By tom r. grabuschnigg (tomtitan) Enlightenment By Tom Baetsen - xlix.nl Meditation By Gunarto Song learn contemplative By Herbert A. Dance is an incredibly popular activity, and permeates modern culture in a variety of forms. From club and street dancing to ballroom and formal dancing, dance can serve as exercise, intimate expression, social interaction or for religious reasons. Archaeological evidence suggests dance has been a part of human society for a long time, existing since humanity’s first civilizations. Famous dances include line dancing, rain dancing, wedding dances and more. Dancing is great to photography because it’s both an activity as well as an individual and emotional expression. Puppets are artificial creations that resemble animals, people or other animate objects that are controlled by a manipulator. Puppets come in a variety of different types depending on the type of puppetry they are meant for. Types of puppetry involve finger puppets, which are controlled by a puppeteer’s fingers, sock puppets which are created using socks and manipulated using the hands, marionettes which are string puppets, and others. Puppets are interesting because they are inanimate objects that resemble animate objects, and then are animated as a way of recreating the original animate object. As such, they can be great subjects for photographers: Puppetry By Prasenjeet Gautamm Garden gnomes sunflower garden! Dragons are perhaps the most well known fantasy creatures, and appear not only in modern fantasy literature, movies and art, but also were part of historical mythology in ancient Greece, India, Persia, and China. A dragon is a ferocious creature that combines qualities from snakes and reptiles, usually of a large size, and frequently with the ability to breathe fire. Although the characteristics of dragons differ by region of mythology (Chinese dragons differ from those from Greek mythology), modern depictions of dragons hold some common traits. Dragons are especially popular in fantasy environments such as Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and many more. They are especially popular as a subject for artists because of their frequently terrifying nature, their ability to fly and breathe fire, and their frequent role as antagonists to a main character. Cities are known for hustle and bustle and the noise and activity of every day life for millions of people. New York City, for example, is known as the city that never sleeps, and cities are home to a large percentage of the worlds population. Cities are technically just large, densely populated clusters of buildings, but they also frequently have skyscrapers and other tall buildings, and tend to be centers of trade, commerce, transportation and other key features. The lifestyles in cities, and the activities that take place there, are unique and like nowhere else on Earth, and the skylines can be quite breathtaking as well: NYC by Leif Londal Intersection by Navid Baraty Arteries of Urban Life by Aydin Aksoy Density3 by Coolor Foto When the Clothes Fly to Napoli Nightscapes A Day in Dumbo by Alissa Rosenberg Nanpu Bridge by Jens Fersterra The Passenger by Adrian Donoghue Shanghai by Jakob Wagner Christmas Chopping by Jari Heino Urban Living by Coolor Foto Do you need a taxi by Luis Bonito The Urban Ant Farm by Jonny Goodboy Modern Architecture by Olevar The Dark City by Jose C. A package needs to fit the product that it contains. A package can consist of a variety of elements, from a simple label and wrapping, to a solid container or surrounding case, cup or box. In multiple ways though, the package needs to fit. First, the package must be capable of containing and protecting the product so that it is not damaged or otherwise altered while waiting to be sold. Therefore, packages must be sturdy, capable of protecting from heat or light, or otherwise protective. Also, packages must fit the brand, and also make the product appealing in as many ways as possible. Surrealism is a niche art field, that combines reality with fantasy in a noticeably bizarre way that seems as though the real world has taken on some dreamlike or strange properties. Perhaps best known in the field of surrealist art is Salvador Dali, but other artists such as Chirico and Max Ersnt also helped define the movement in art, which also combines with philosophy to combine dream and reality seamlessly in an effort to express the subconscious. In photography, a variety of techniques can be employed, such as photomanipulation, double exposure, creative staging and forced perspective, to create a surreal photograph: Impossible by Damian Connell Melon Splash by Eric Balcon Breaking Through by David Thompson Becoming and Passing Away by Anja Buehrer Clouds by Trynidada Diving Course by Bella Von Einsiedel Salt by Max Ziegler Nature is painting … day after day by Yvette Depaepe Il museo immaginario by Loris Rizzi Tribute to Chirico by Jacek Stefan Unfair Chess by Ingrid Krammer Surreal Selfie by Tomitan Untitled by Diggie Vitt Windows of the Forest by Jacqueline Hammer Born to fly.. by Alexander Steger Art Little Boxes by Anne Worner Gravity by Benjamin von Wong The Swimming Pool Window by Gilbert Claes Surreal Seduction by John77 Surreal phone speaking by Aleksandar Dimitrijević Multiple Personalities by Mieke Suharini Wherever I Go by Pieter Arnolli Dreams by Carlo Longarini Backwards by George Christakis SD 1 by Vito Guarino The Universe of Dreams by Sol Marrades Fishing For Memories by Shawn Van Daele Seeking The Light by Nieves Bautista The Celebration Art by Rob Woodcox A State of a Cold Snack by Shenshen Dou Related Posts Best Surreal Photoshop Tutorials Surreal Photographs & Photomanipulations Windows: More than Just an Opening in Photography Out of this World Photo manipulation Tutorials Abstract Art in the Simple Leaf

Space has fascinated mankind since the dawn of time. With myths and legends about the bodies in our solar system, and the sun (as well as other bodies) worshipped and revered as gods, all the way up through modern science, space has kept our attention and continues to hold mysteries. Astrophotography is the art of taking photographs of outer space, which can be accomplished from the ground using a camera, or using a camera and telescope, or from the air. Some of the best known astrophotographs are taken from the Hubble space telescope. But we can’t capture everything with just cameras yet, so many artists also use photomanipulation to depict the stars. Here’s some of the most eye-catching space photographs and manipulations to fascinate you: Hyakutake By Christian Klepp Comet By Paul Fleet Orbital Station By Marko Magister Orion nebula By Ilya Smirnov Pipe Stem Nebula By Paul Stewart Milkyway starfield By Stefan Holm Neutron Star Collision By Anton Fofonov Quick Creation By Andrew The Lunar By Daniel Joseph Rosette Nebula By Nelson Amorin Andromeda galaxy By Attila Bódi The stars talk about the past By Matteo Morino Rho Opiuchi By Álvaro Pérez & Jose M. When most people think of shopping bags, they just think of plain plastic or paper bags that are used to carry goods after purchase for convenience and protection. However, the simple shopping bag has the potential to be so much more. The shopping bag can be one of the best ways to get free advertising, in a sort of "word of mouth" manner that is unspoken. With clever branding and design, others will notice the shopping bag and potentially be inclined to shop at the store as well, or at least investigate the brand further. Lots of different materials are used in automotive manufacturing, such as plastic, steel, carbon fiber and aluminum. However, some of the main components are made of metals, which can give strength to the vehicle but also provide a shiny surface. For automotive enthusiasts, the metallic equipment in a car is some of the most fun to look at and tinker with. And for photographers, it’s one of the best subjects to photograph because it can reflect light and draw the eye and contrast against the color of the vehicle.
