It’s common knowledge that when you send anything over the Internet, you take the risk that it will show up at the wrong time, on the wrong site, and available for all to see. What kind of control would you like to have over your content? iSpring provides you with a wide range of protection features - you can choose what suits you best and meets your particular requirements.
You are welcome to read about iSpring’s advanced content protection options in the newly published article in iSpring Knowledge Base.

The question here boils down to this: how much time, energy, know-how and various other resources are you able/willing to invest in building and maintaining an LMS yourself, and how much would you rather entrust to the care of a professional LMS provider?
From a purely economic point of view, there’s no avoiding the fact that administering an LMS from top to bottom requires an investment in resources, no matter how those resources are deployed. Even the open-source model requires you to pay for hosting (or handle it yourself). You will also have to pay an IT department (or have IT skills yourself) in order to get everything properly set up and integrated.
Even the customer service follows the same pattern: with an open-source model, you have a large, vibrant community of gear-heads, all with opinions and advice (most of which are quite valuable, actually), but in the end, it is you who is left wearing the coveralls, wrench in hand. Each upgrade, each plugin, each modification to the system requires a decision on your part: should I implement it or not? Followed, of course, by flayed knuckles and grease everywhere.
Enlisting the services of a paid LMS, on the other hand, is like going through a dealership from the start. You’ve shopped around, you’ve done some research on the various manufacturers, and you’ve made a decision: I’ll go with iSpring Learn. From that moment, everything but the driving is left to us. Upgrades are seamlessly implemented; service is reliably distributed to all your end-users—in fact, you have to remind yourself that there actually is a temperature-controlled server farm purring away somewhere out there.
So, to recap: why choose iSpring LMS?
You don’t need to have coveralls, because we have it all covered!

What would you want your authoring softaware to look like? Should it be powerful and easy to use? Comprehensive and intuitive?
iSpring turned out to be the perfect combination of these features for RELATE. Being a leading professional media services company, that works with Adobe, GE, Cisco and BMW, RELATE was looking for a powerful solution that could live up their great expectations.
Take a look at this success story that started from finding the perfect solution for content authoring - iSpring Presenter 7.
"Challenge: Finding a Bug-Free, PowerPoint-Based e-Learning Content Authoring Tool
RELATE creates e-Learning content using a variety of technologies, including Microsoft PowerPoint. There are e-Learning authoring tools on the market that are supposed to make converting PowerPoint-based content to an e-Learning platform simple, but Zanotti found that developing e-Learning content using complex PowerPoint presentations often required his team to develop workarounds for PowerPoint’s more advanced features.
On the recommendation of a customer, Zanotti and the RELATE development team tried iSpring Presenter, an advanced e-Learning development tool. After putting iSpring Presenter through its paces, Zanotti quickly concluded it was the best engineered product on the market.
"iSpring actually takes advantage of every single feature PowerPoint offers, no matter how complex the presentation is," he said. "No one else does that. iSpring Presenter is amazingly bug-free - it’s by far the most competently engineered product on the market."
Solution: A PowerPoint-Based eLearning Authoring Tool That Really Works
As he became more familiar with iSpring Presenter’s capabilities, Zanotti was impressed by the product’s ability to handle all types of interactive media. With iSpring Presenter, course developers can easily include narration, add rich media elements and embed quizzes to gauge learner progress. Zanotti was also impressed by the support he received from the iSpring team, which continuously reviews emerging technology and incorporates new functions.
"We realized immediately that iSpring Presenter is an excellent tool, and once we got to know the iSpring team, we understood why they were able to produce such a solid product," Zanotti recalls. "iSpring has an incredibly sharp engineering team, and they are very responsive, working closely with us to ensure we can take advantage of all of the product’s features."
iSpring Presenter is SCORM compliant, meaning it’s technically compatible with other e-Learning programs, a key advantage in the training and development industry. The latest version of the product - iSpring Presenter 7 - allows users like RELATE and its customers to easily publish content that works across all devices, including smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktops. iSpring Presenter 7 enables learning anytime, anywhere.
The Result: Happy Developers, Happy Customers
"One of the great things about iSpring Presenter is that you don’t have to be a web developer to create engaging, professional e-Learning courses to deliver online or via mobile devices," Zanotti notes. "Many of our clients prefer to leverage all of PowerPoint’s capabilities, and with iSpring, we can use 100% of PowerPoint’s features without having to create workarounds to make up for product shortfalls. iSpring really stands out for its excellence in engineering."
For the RELATE team, the advantages of using iSpring Presenter are clear: happy developers and happy customers. Superior engineering that facilitates the full use of PowerPoint features helps RELATE ensure customers have the training resources they need to build a better workforce."
How did you discover the benefits of iSpring?
Share your iSpring experience with us! We’re looking forward to hearing from you!

Not surprisingly that distance learning gradually catches on. With e-Learning you reach almost unlimited audience and win an opportunity to teach and train people. Different countries and time zones are now out of importance!
The only thing needed to deploy e-Learning is tools that would be a perfect fit for your unique needs. An essential set boils down to 2 basic tools: an authoring tool for creation of courses and quizzes and a learning management system (LMS). Roughly speaking e-Learning loses its significance without LMS as it becomes impossible to track users’ activity and their learning results.
iSpring suggests the full bundle of e-Learning tools. They allow to create rich media interactive e-Learning content and upload courses to any SCORM-, AICC or Tin Can-compliant LMS.
To rescue you from extra efforts iSpring comes up with a complete solution - iSpring Learn.
iSpring Learn is a powerful combo of cloud-based LMS and fully-integrated authoring toolkit that:
provides system stability on higher loads (up to 1500 simultaneous users),
allows to carry out quizzes and surveys,
supports SCORM, AICC and Tin Can API - for courses developed in 3d-party tools,
delivers e-Learning both to desktops and to mobile devices, including iPads,
allows to take courses and quizzes on iPad even offline thanks to iSpring Learn Mobile App,
supports rich media content: you can upload interactive courses and quizzes from iSpring authoring tools and add any audio, video, text files and presentations.
iSpring constantly working on improving its products. With the recent update users of iSpring LMS got new impressive features:
Content Management: assigning folders with several content items for studying.
User Portal: learning content divided into "To Do", "Optional" and "Completed". Learn more→
Self-registration: after you share the link to the learning material in the Internet, anyone who’d like to view it but doesn’t have an account yet, can click the link, register and take the course.
iSpring software is chosen by over 450 educational institutions all over the world.
You are welcome to test out all the impressive capabilities of iSpring Learn.

Earlier this month, the iSpring team thoroughly enjoyed three days in the beautiful Orlando, FL for the Saba Global Summit "At Work 2014." Roughly 800 customer attendees and 30 partners from all over the world participated in stimulating sessions about the impact of SABA’s LMS. Sessions also discussed partner solutions on learning and training in the workforce.
iSpring was a content gold sponsor at this event. We had a great time exhibiting our learning solutions authoring tools at our booth, which was headed by our very own Clay Moore, iSpring Director of Sales, as well as, iSpring’s Sale Manager, Elena Golovina. Meeting our current customers in person and getting to introduce new customers to iSpring’s offerings is always such a wonderful experience, and one we are truly grateful for.
There was also a lot of fun to be had outside of the conference! Our team got a chance to take in the local sights and culture with excursions to Universal City Walk, filling our bellies at some delicious local restaurants, and a few adventurous water taxi rides! We enjoyed great conversation and created new relationships with many in the industry at the luau and street party as well. Overall, we would say that SABA Global Summit 2014 went off without a hitch.
SABA, iSpring thanks you for this wonderful event. We had a blast and look forward to SABA Summit 2015!
Were YOU at SABA Global Summit 2014? We would love to hear about your experience!

Education has evolved throughout the years to meet the needs of the learners. The one-room schoolhouses that dotted many landscapes have been replaced by grade level specific multi-room institutions that meet the individual needs of all students.
Today's educational paradigm though is changing once again as e-Learning transforms today's academic landscape. While e-Learning might be a phenomenon that has only been available for the past few years, its diverse applications are making it a staple in both corporate and academic settings.
The Association Learning + Technology 2011: State of the Sector report identified the key e-Learning strategies from 375 different organizations. Each of the following trends promises great possibilities for the future of the e-Learning model:

With the emerging trends in social media and the explosion of video available, e-Learning developers compete with a variety of creative media. Instructional designers can hold audiences' attention by using video in their modules. Video is a necessity for developers and adds dimension and interest, as well as educates learners.
Here are several reasons to use video in your e-Learning courses:
Video creates an emotional connection with users through story. A video that motivates and has a story is powerful in engaging learners, especially if a behavioral change is needed. Learners relate to a human character and are more likely to remember the educational concept through the use of a story.
Video is a valuable method for demonstrations. Designers who are tasked with teaching a procedure with specific steps will find video is an effective tool. Video is useful for processes that are more easily learned through a visual demonstration rather than a narrative explanation.
Video helps model soft skills. Video is especially useful for teaching behaviors and modeling responses. Courses for professional development, human resources, interviewing, and communications are good examples where actors in the video model appropriate behaviors through language, gestures, responses, body language, and voice inflections.

We have exciting and awesome news for all e-Learning fans around the world: a brand-new, powerful and comprehensive authoring tool, iSpring Suite 7, is released.
iSpring Suite 7 has evolved from being just a "good idea" to become a "supercharged e-Learning tool". So, what makes it supercharged?
1. Characters
What are characters for? To reach the maximum presence effect. This is an integral part of e-Learning process, as it makes the course spring to life and improves its efficiency: when learners see the tutor’s emotions they perceive the information better. Now it’s possible to achieve the same result in the field of distance learning using iSpring’s built-in character library. Communicate more earnestly by putting info in character’s mouth!Read more »

Did you ever notice in school that the subjects that you took the most away from tended to be the ones you actually had fun learning? That is the case for essentially all people. We like to learn when the material is presented to us in such a way that it is fun for our minds. Some e-Learning trends are grabbing onto this theory and running with it.

Some simple to implement eLearning tips can help you improve eLearning for your students.
Make the Course Self-Contained
This may seem obvious but it is very important. If students need to access other resources while completing the work this can quickly impact their willingness to learn. It is best to just create a course that has everything the students need to complete it, already contained inside the course. If this is not possible, use of links (to websites, other applications, and other media) will suffice.
