Eyes are often considered to be the window to the soul, as they can reveal depths of information about a person or animal. What tends to be most striking about eyes is the color, which is caused by pigments in the iris called melanin and lipochrome.
Eyes can also have other characteristics, such as size of the pupil, visibility of the blood vessels of the eye, and interactions with the eyelid, lashes and eyebrows, all that can indicate mood, intention and other information.
For photographs, capturing photographs of the eye can also reveal this information, but it’s challenging due to things such as blinking, light responsiveness, and more. Here’s some photographs that will captivate you:

If you’re working on a social, web or mobile app, it’s often important to show your designer, developer, investors or marketers what your project is going to look like, early on, and part of the way you can do that is through prototyping using UI kits.
UI kits let you rapidly build out a website with structure and some styling to give the general idea for a website’s functionality. It’s possible to build fully functioning websites with UI kits as well, but for originality, changing some styling is advised.
In this post, I’ve gathered up some great HTML5 and CSS3 UI kits that are already coded out so you can copy and paste elements as needed and utilize them without having to code them:
Flat UI Kit
Flatastic Mobile UI Kit
Interface UI Kit
Super Minimal V2 Kit
Epic UI Kit
Material Kit
Bootflat Kit
eShop Kit
Get Done Kit
Responsive Flat Kit

Legos are an incredibly popular toy for children and teens (as well as adults) that utilize building blocks to create larger objects, structures and scenes.
Legos most often come in pre-packaged kits that are designed to have all the pieces for a given scene, but they also have tubs of assorted pieces that can be purchased.
Legos are often used to recreate cute and unique scenes, or construct mind-blowing creations, and they can be great photographic subjects:

One of the best ways to promote a movie is to create a promotional or teaser website related to the film. It encourages users to check out the movie, sign up for updates, and get the visitor interested in the plot.
Promotional websites can be a direct overview and teaser of the film, or they can be an interactive experience designed to explore the events leading up to the film, a game related to the movie, or a fictional website about an entity in the film.
In this post, you’ll see some creative promotional websites for movies and films:
Dawn of Planet of the Apes
Cinderella Past Midnight
Jurassic World
District 13
Interstellar 3D Tour
Big Hero 6
Earth to Echo
Build Your Own Boxtroll
Grey
Noah

Photographs are always of an event or scene in the past, and they have traditionally been used to document the past in order to remember it or show it in the future.
However, some photographs are specifically designed to show the contrast between the past and present, or to showcase something from the past and show how time has elapsed.
In these photographs of the past, there can be subtle or dramatic differences over time, but you’ll be sure you’re looking at the past:

Using a game on your website is one of the best ways to boost interactivity on your site and keep your users engaged for a long period of time, and make them want to return for more.
When a website is a fun experience for the user, it encourages them to give their data, time, attention and focus, which is why games also make effective advertising tools and apps.
Users have high expectations for the appearance of games these days though, and they need to be entertaining and addictive. Here’s some fun examples:
Spacelamb
Stuff: The Abandoned Land
Action Stations
BubbleJump
GetAce
Dragonball Xenoverse
The Family Farmer
Far Cry 4
Give Holland a Break

I love whales and we have a lot of them here in Iceland. Occasionally they end up stranded on the beach, and in this case the whale was long dead before he washed up on shore. I went to see it with my son, and shot a few photos of it’s decaying skin. Might be useful for someone, you never know

Tattoos are a form of body art that has been around for centuries. The process of tattooing involves injecting ink under the skin to create a given design.
Tattoos have been around almost as long as mankind, and many prehistoric tribes are known to have used tattoos for tribal significance, spirituality, and indicating societal status.
Most people with tattoos use them as a form of body art, and love to show off their decorations:
