Description
The leadership playbook is changing—and faster than many organizations can keep up. The leaders we need tomorrow may require very different capabilities, mindsets, and behaviors than those who succeeded yesterday.
So, what does it really take to develop a leader for a future we cannot fully predict? Should we be developing new competencies—or fundamentally changing how we think about leadership development? How do we prepare leaders to navigate AI, disruption, hybrid work, generational differences, unprecedented complexity, and expectations for greater humanity at work?
Join Elaine Biech, editor of ATD’s Leadership Handbook, for a provocative conversation with three additional contributors to the book: Ann Herrmann-Nehdi, Andrew Loignon, and Bob Nelson. Together, they will challenge conventional thinking about what leaders need, how leaders learn, and what organizations must do differently to develop leadership capacity for the future.
Come prepared to question some of your assumptions about leadership development. You may leave with more questions than answers—but also with ideas you can put to work immediately.
And because the conversation is inspired by ATD’s Leadership Handbook, several copies of the book will be given away during the session.
