Description

Great learning starts with understanding your audience. But knowing a learner’s job title, experience level, or location only tells part of the story. What do they need? What motivates them? What gets in their way? And what will make the learning feel useful to them?

In this webinar, we’ll explore how learner personas can bring your audience to life and help you make more thoughtful design choices. We’ll walk through what makes a persona useful, how to create one without overcomplicating the process, and how to put personas to work as you design your course. You’ll see how a clearer picture of your learners can help shape more relevant content, realistic scenarios, and meaningful learning experiences.

By the end of the webinar, you’ll be able to:
  • Look beyond basic audience demographics to better understand learner needs, motivations, challenges, and goals.
  • Ask better questions about your learners before and during the design process.
  • Keep the learner’s perspective front and center from the first design decision to the finished course.
  • Use personas to guide design choices instead of relying on assumptions about your audience.
  • Make content and scenarios more relatable by connecting them to situations learners actually encounter.
