Handouts

Description

The all-star team is back. Dr. Karl Kapp, Dr. Ellen Wagner, and Dr. David Metcalf join host Dr. Anders Gronstedt for a sharp, opinionated conversation about the shift reshaping L&D: from content delivery to real capability development. The organizations pulling ahead are combining AI and XR to shrink the distance between learning and doing, putting practice at the point of need and performance support inside the workflow. This panel shares what that looks like in practice, and how to get there.

What You'll Learn:
  • From Content to Capability: Dr. Kapp on the AI continuum from automated content generation to real-time coaching and scenario simulation, and how knowledge graphs and experience-augmented generation (XAG) embed top performer behavior into AI models
  • AI Super Teams: Dr. Metcalf on why the future isn't one bot but a round table of specialized AI agents collaborating with human experts to solve problems no single system could handle alone
  • Learning Engineering at Scale: Dr. Wagner on why data fluency is the new L&D superpower, and how to move from testing ideas for tenability to engineering solutions for scalability
  • Learning at the Point of Need: Dr. Gronstedt on treating workers like the elite athletes and esports athletes they are, with immersive XR practice that delivers individual reps and sets directly in the flow of work

Bring your questions for a lively, expert conversation.
