Kapp, Ed.D., CFPIM, CIRM, professor of Instructional Technology at Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, PA and author of five books including the best selling "The Gamification of Learning and Instruction". Karl blogs at the popular “Kapp Notes” and is a frequent international keynote speaker, workshop leader, moderator, and panelist at conferences as well as events for private corporations and universities. He is a Co-Principle Investigator on two National Science Foundation (NSF) grants dealing with simulation development. He consultants with many organizations including Pearson, where Karl’s role was to help guide the addition of game-elements to high stakes test preparation in a project called Zeos Academy.
