Description
Who deserves the chance to get better at their jobs? Who deserves the chance to access the latest information in their field? Most people would answer, “everyone.”
As e-learning developers, the design and technical choices we make might create barriers for certain learners, such as someone who is color blind, or has a wrist cast because of recent surgery, or is hard of hearing. Until we consider barriers to access, we won’t have equity. We won’t be creating a level playing field where everyone can take advantage of professional development opportunities. We limit who has the right to get better at their jobs.
In this program, you’ll learn about some of the major decisions you can make to remove these barriers and create courses that are accessible to individuals with disabilities.
