Geeky Girl Karin Rex is an author, facilitator, instructional designer, and frequent speaker on technology-related topics. Since 1989, Karin has owned Geeky Girl, LLC, a boutique learning organization based in southeastern Pennsylvania, where she devotes her time to writing, instructional design (eLearning, virtual classroom and face-to-face classroom, blended), and teaching.
Karin is the author of several technology-related books, including Office 2010 Demystified (McGraw-Hill) and has developed an extensive number of technical and soft-skill learning programs for clients all over the world. Karin is a pioneer in online learning, having been involved since 1994 as a facilitator, course developer, and producer for a variety of online learning venues.
In addition to running Geeky Girl, Karin works extensively with InSync Training and ATD as a certified synchronous facilitator and designer, is a COTP (Certified Online Training Professional) and has a master’s degree in professional writing.
