Description
How do others do what you do? Are there ways you might improve your own processes? Marrapodi and Getz will share tools like Teamwork, Slack, ProofMe, and Review My Elearning used for collaboration which can significantly streamline project management and improve communication. You’ll learn to document the workflow within your team, examine your workflow for problem areas, and implement and leverage collaborative tools within your workgroup. You will leave with tools you can use in your organization to identify and improve your methods.
About Dr. Jean Marrapodi
Jean Marrapodi, Ph.D., CPLP is a passionate educator and lifelong learner. With 16 years in corporate training in banking, retail, printing, non-profits, and healthcare, she understands trends and needs in a variety of industries. Trained as a teacher, she has taught preschool, special and elementary ed, and spent five years in higher ed, where she led her elearning team to win three national awards in 2014.
Jean is wholeheartedly invested in literacy, volunteering her time in adult education, teaching English and reading to the lowest literacy learners. Jean is a frequent conference speaker, presenting workshops at the local, regional, national and international level on training, elearning, and low literacy.

About Michael Getz
Michael Getz, an accomplished designer/developer of award-winning e-learning solutions, has been at the helm of Illumina Interactive since the company’s inception in 1997. As a creative and technical project director and producer, Michael has spent over 30 years in design, programming, production and management of computer-, multimedia- and Internet-based applications for corporate, industrial and educational markets. Michael brings exceptional knowledge and expertise in the use of web and multimedia technologies to address corporate training requirements. At Illumina, Michael has managed development of learning solutions for companies in a wide variety of industries – from healthcare and life sciences to financial services and high-tech – and for a spectrum of clients from Fortune 100 companies to government agencies, non-profits, as well as small and mid-size companies. As the head of Illumina his focus is primarily on business development and operations as well as project oversight.
About Jason Kramer
A recent addition to the Illumina creative team, Jason’s specialty is eLearning where he is continuously pushing the design possibilities of the medium. In past years, he gained critical experience in the corporate training world as a Senior Instructional Designer with Citizens Bank and was part of the award-winning instructional design team at NECB where he flourished under Dr. Jean Marrapodi’s tutelage.
With an MA in philosophy, Jason executed the online build-out of the undergraduate philosophy curriculum at the University of Memphis, where he also served as an adjunct-faculty member. Jason is an early adopter of new technology, an eternal music student, and a bibliophile.
