Infinite Arcade is the wonderful new iOS app for kids wanting to create their own game. King of Math 2 is a super fun iOS game for ages 10 on up. King of Math has students playing through 125 stages as they solve different basic (i.e. addition, multiplication, etc) Math problems as they unlock levels to become king or queen. LitCharts is a neat site I just learned about from Richard Byrne's excellent blog. LitCharts is a free service for students that lets them type in a book to find out all relevant information pertains to that title, such as: background info, summary, detailed analysis, quotes, characters, and much much more. All information can be viewed online or downloaded as a PDF.
