Margie Meacham first became interested in helping people learn when she was a little girl struggling to learn how to read. While she didn’t discover it until much later, Margie is dyslexic and was finding it hard to keep up with her classmates. Eventually she figured out how her mind worked and graduated high school as her class valedictorian and summa cum laude from her Bachelor and Master’s level programs. Today, she teaches learning professionals how to apply the latest discoveries in cognitive neuroscience, educational psychology and artificial intelligence.

Margie is a leading expert in the application of neuroscience and machine learning to enhance knowledge management, learning and performance.  Her book, Brain Matters: How to help anyone learning anything using neuroscience, is a practical review of current research. She also writes a popular blog on the science of learning and hosts a  podcast that was voted in the Top 10 for Learning Professionals.
