About Phylise Banner

Phylise Banner is a learning experience designer with over 25 years of vision, action, and leadership experience in transformational teaching and learning approaches within academia and industry. A pioneer in online learning, she regularly seeks out and embraces opportunities to experiment with emerging pedagogies and technologies to create vibrant and engaged communities of practice. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Learning Environment Architect (CLEA), Adobe Education Leader, STC Fellow, performance storyteller, avid angler, and aviation enthusiast. She is also the proud owner of a 1967 Amphicar.

About Bryan Chapman

Bryan Chapman has been an active fixture at Training magazine's annual Training Conference & Expo and Online Learning Conference; hosting more than a dozen vendor shootouts, conducting hands-on labs, running experimental learning sessions, assembling metadata analysis of Training Top 125 award winners, and serving as a keynote speaker for Online Learning Asia and Online Learning Europe. For several years, he wrote a popular advice column in Training magazine called "Ask Bryan," answering questions about how to best position and leverage innovative learning technologies in daily practice. By day, Bryan is chief learning strategist for Chapman Alliance, a provider of research-centric consulting solutions that assist organizations in defining, operating and optimizing their strategic learning initiatives; working for such groups as American Express, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Shell, IBM, Microsoft, Home Depot and the American Red Cross.

About Steven Dahlberg

Steven T. Dahlberg is the creative engagement director for Training magazine where he manages social media networks to creatively engage its audience through digital media and outreach. He also curates shared learning experiences in the online Peer-Learning Community to enrich Training magazine's face-to-face conferences; works with the conference group to intentionally design new and different elements that push beyond the typical professional conference format; and collaborates with external partners to create new programs and experiences. In addition, Steven co-hosts the "Creativity in Play" online radio show and authored the foreword to the book Education is Everybody's Business: A Wake-Up Call to Advocates of Educational Change by Berenice Bleedorn.

As a learning & development practitioner, speaker, and recovering blogger, Mark Sheppard is no stranger to the L&D scene. He cheerfully embraces his inner geek and channels that energy into putting technology to work in the learning process. His work has been recognized with awards ranging from the eLearning Guild to the Royal Canadian Air Force. He has shared his expertise and insights with audiences in Canada, the US, and Australia. He believes in the "art of the possible", the power of innovation and challenging expectations.
