Description

Have TONS of asynchronous learning out there that no one’s using? You’re not alone. There’s been a trend that more is better. And so over the years, we have “stuffed” the clouds and taken a “Build it and they will come” mentality.

Without the proper support system, all of our efforts are literally turning into virtual “space junk.” Start at the beginning and determine if asynchronous learning is right for your learning situation. Learn the challenges (some of you may already painfully know) and how to craft a support system that leads the learners to this mode of learning, facilitates their learning and enables them to transfer this new knowledge back on the job.

Objectives:

  • Identify when asynchronous learning is appropriate
  • Tie asynchronous learning to the learner’s current performance
  • Develop a process to support the learner before, during and after the asynchronous learning event
