Description

When one starts with the content aspects of Microlearning as a focus, trouble brews. Microlearning has nothing to do with learning. It has to do with usefulness. Sadly, the worst thing we have done about Microlearning is calling it “learning.”

The “usefulness” aspect of Microlearning (or should we call it Micro-Actions) is what matters. Focusing on usefulness forces us to change strategies so we aim for the targeted results rather than the methods, tools and the content.

For Microlearning to succeed, it has to be Ready-to-Use and Rich-In-Context. Simply put, there is nothing that should stop the worker from using it instantly.

In this webinar, you will gain insights on:
  • Why is content the worst way to start Microlearning?
  • What are the booby traps and minefields that lead to failures?
  • How do workers actually work and when do they need help?
  • What are the “learning” related factors that impede performance?
  • How would you address the flow killers in work?
  • How do you use Microlearning to deal with the flow killers?
